WHEN
July 4th Weekend
WHY
The Tukwila Church of Christ is still relatively new to the city of Tukwila. We identify with churches of Christ all around the world who pattern themselves to the 1st century church in the bible - via principle, command, practice and pattern.
We are a congregation of believers who love God and care about what He cares about - People! We decided a community picnic would be a wonderful opportunity to meet the Community of Tukwila and to spread the love of Jesus in a day of fun together! The first one was so great, we decided to have another one. We will base future community gatherings based on this model explained.
WHAT
Everything was Free! We enjoyed an ole' fashioned family picnic with all the fixins! There was a Bouncy House, Water Fun, Musical Chairs, Ole' and New & Old School Gospel Music, 3 On 3 Basketball, free food, face painting, free new bikes for children ages 5-12 (First Come First Serve) while supplies lasted.
